The Shawnee Lady Wolves finished undefeated for the first week of the season, sweeping Tulsa Memorial in a pair of District 5A-3 games on Saturday.

Shawnee scored five runs in the first and third innings in a 13-3 win in game one. Winning pitcher Kylee Thompson had three hits and drove in three runs while striking out seven in three innings of work.

Taylor Chamblin added three RBI while Lexi Freeman had two doubles and a pair of runs batted in. Kristen Grabin, Kelsey Simmons and Jessica Strong all finished with two hits.

In game two the Lady Wolves cruised to a 28-5 win. Grabin had three more hits, while Logan Bonner was 2-4 with two RBI and Chamblin drove in four more runs.

Thompson pitched all five innings, striking out five and moving her record to 4-0.

Shawnee will play at El Reno on Monday at 5 p.m.
