Local woman among class of 82.

Oklahoma State University’s Center for Veterinary Health Sciences welcomed the Class of 2018 with a White Coat Ceremony held recently at the Stillwater Community Center.

Among the 82 member class was Emily Davis of Shawnee.

Davis earned a BS degree in Biology from Baylor University in May 2013. She is the daughter of Merle and Elizabeth Davis also of Shawnee.

The traditional white coat symbolizes the first step of many milestones these veterinary medical students will achieve as they begin their journey to earn a DVM degree from Oklahoma’s only veterinary college.
