Photo to accompany story
I enjoyed the article about the climbing hydrangeas taking time in the Wed. July 29, by Jim Fitzgerald.
I think it’d be fun to see a picture of those.
I’ve seen hydrangeas, my parents had them, but I’ve not ever seen climbing hydrangeas.
But I enjoyed the article and if you would just consider photos or something that would be really nice.

Student enjoyed performance
Aurora Duncan of Bethel High School recently enjoyed singing in the chorus of Joseph [and the Amazing] Technicolor Greencoat presented by the lyric theater at the Civic Center Music Hall.

What happened to Patience?
I enjoyed an article of June 12, 2003, Shawnee News-Star about a little dog named Patience by Liz Jones.
He was staying out at that time in the Shawnee Regional Hospital, in the parking lot and stuff, and greeted the patrons and greeted people. And I just wondered if he ever had a home or found a home or what happened to him or if ya’ll know anything about him. I thought it was really a cute story and I just wondered if he ever found a home. It was really cute pictures, too. Thank you for the paper.
Scoopie’s Response: While we’re not absolutely sure, since that has been more than six years ago, we believe Patience was adopted and found a good home.
