Lincoln County 4-Hers recently showed each other and judges their talents in cooking and serving.
Joanna Orner was the only youth showing in the Cloverbud Division. She is a Chandler Cloverbud and received a participation Ribbon for entering her favorite food of “Cheesey Biscuits.”
In the Beginners Tobias Sapp, Wellston 4-H won grand champion, first and a Blue Ribbon with “Teriyaki Chicken.” Other Blue Ribbon winners were: Faith Thompson, Davenport 4-H with “Whole Wheat Blueberry Muffins;” James Grim, Chandler 4-H with “Old-Fashioned Oat Pancakes or Waffles;” Noah Orner, Wellston 4-H with “Peanutty Pops;” and Joshua Orner, Wellston 4-H with “Bacon-Egg English Muffin.”
John Grim, Chandler 4-H was grand champion of the Intermediates, first and a Blue Ribbon winner with “Baked Barbecued Pork Buns.” Anna Lawler, Chandler 4-H was also a Blue Ribbon winner with “Tuxedo Brownie Cups.” Red Ribbon winners were Tyler Spears, Wellston 4-H with “Mom’s Basic Meatloaf” and Merashea Mentzer, Chandler with “Santa Fe Soup.”
In the Advanced division Justin Orner, Wellston 4-H was the grand champion, first and Blue Ribbon winner with “Tenderloin Spinach Spirals.” Also, winning Blue Ribbons were John Lawler, Chandler 4-H with “Chicken Parmesan” and Elizabeth Grim, Chandler 4-H with “Hawaiian Chicken.” Red Ribbons were won by Mari Grim, Chandler 4-H with “Emma’s Overnight Salad” and James Taylor, Chandler 4-H with “Pork Chalupas.”
