At the end of a three-day filing period, several candidates have filed for a number of seats with Lincoln County boards of education.
Races have developed in some districts, while other candidates filed unopposed.
Raymond E. Hemphill and Stacy Knox will vie for Office 4 with the Carney Public Schools board of education, while Tina Murray-Perceful and incumbent Kevin K. Terronez will vie for Office 4 with the Davenport Public Schools board of education.
Three candidates have filed for Office 5 in Wanette. They are Kevin E. Wallace, Wayne McConnell and Amanda Tillison.
Dave Anderson and incumbent Roger McKee will face off for Office 4 with the Prague Public Schools board of education, and Kerri Cheatwood-Quary and appointed incumbent Glen Hyden will face off for Office 3 in Prague.
Incumbent Philip Beloncik drew no opposition in his bid for re-election to Office 4 with the Chandler Public Schools board of education, and incumbent Carl Randall drew no opposition in his bid for re-election to Office 4 with the Meeker Public Schools board of education.
Incumbent Grant Green filed unopposed in his bid for re-election to Office 4 with the Wellston Public Schools board of education, and incumbent Kevin Idleman filed unopposed in his bid for re-election to Office 1 with the White Rock Public Schools board of education.
Incumbent Gary P. Babinec drew no opposition in his bid for re-election to Office 4 with the Stroud Public Schools board of education.
No candidates filed for Office 4 with the Asher Public Schools board of education, and Melissa Stambaugh, Lincoln County Election Board secretary, said the school district will appoint someone to the seat.
Candidates who filed unopposed will automatically be appointed to their desired seats.
