Good program

I’m calling in response to the caller who loves the horses all around Shawnee. I love them too and think they look really great but I am wondering if they are doing anything to strengthen the horses so they don’t have to put the hoses around their necks to hold them still in the wind. But I think they look really great and think it’s a good program.

Define temporary

Why is there no dialogue against the upcoming vote on the one-cent sales tax being made permanent? That tax doesn’t even come up for renewal for five more years. I don’t understand why it has to be made permanent at this time. And why isn’t a tax, just once, allowed to expire?
