Thirty area high school seniors interested in attending Northern Oklahoma College Enid attended the Northern Exposure High School Preview Day Jan. 17. Some of those students received $300 tuition waiver scholarships. The preview day is a special event where potential students and their parents learn about admission requirements and procedures, tour the campus and much more.
The scholarship recipients are Whitney Martin, McLoud High School; Megan Sproul, Fairview High School; Mallory Bolz, Covington-Douglas High School; Samantha Geis, Lomega High School;  Kaelob Kershner, Kremlin-Hillsdale High School; Cody McPherson, Drummond High School; Georgia Moody, Wakita High School; Britney Geis, Lomega High School; and Diana Niemeyer.
Jodi Ackerman, NOC coordinator of high school and college relations said, “This was an informative session about degree programs, financial aid, scholarships, admissions, enrollment procedures, loans, grants, and more. T-shirts were given away and there was a drawing for $300 tuition waiver scholarships. The seniors and their parents were invited to be our guests for a complimentary lunch and for the Jets basketball games against Hesston College. Representatives from NOC clubs, organizations, and academic and financial aid departments were available to answer questions and provide information during a browse time followed by a campus tour. The seniors were given the opportunity to ask questions about the topics discussed and other facets of college life.”
