Grove students place at meet

Grove School recently took first place at the annual Varnum Scholastic Meet. This is a scholastic meet for students in third through sixth grades. The following is a list of students who placed in the meet, the subject in which they placed and the place taken.
 Third-grade winners are Brooke Ashley, spelling — first place (tie); Rachel Argo, spelling — first place (tie); Maddie Alldredge, art — second place; Baylor Hurst, science — third place; Rachel Argo, language arts — second place; Lilly Bryant, language arts — third place; Baylor Hurst, reading — second place; and Kellie Dick, social studies — second place.
Fourth-grade winners are Jeffery Shafer, social studies — first place;  Allie Peterson, math — second place; Evan Rodgers, spelling — first place; Trevor Price, science — second place; Anna Henson, language arts — first place; Allie Peterson, language arts — third place; Evan Rodgers, reading — first place; and Anna Henson, reading — second place.
Fifth-grade winners are Emma Morris, math — second place; Evan Shebester, math — third place; Zachary Fisher, current events — first place; Darian Rhodd, art — second place; Evan Shebester, science — first place; Emma Morris, language arts — first place; Ellis Jones, language arts — third place; Emma Morris, reading — first place; Shelby Jones, reading — second place;  and Evan Shebester, social studies — first place.
Sixth-grade winners are Taylor Ricks, math — first place; Kaylan Westbrook, math — second place; Kade Dixson, current events — first place; Ryan Ball, current events — second place; Kaylan Westbrook, science — first place; Kade Dixson, science — second place; Taylor Ricks, language arts — first place; Kaylan Westbrook, reading — first place; Kade Dixson, social studies — first place; and Hannah Brooks, social studies — second place.
