T-Town author to sign book in Shawnee

Tecumseh author Brian Moore will be  holding a book signing at Walden Books in Shawnee Mall on July 25, from 1 to 3 p.m. for his recent book “The Bitter Trail.”
With a natural curiosity for Western history and lore, Moore writes with a unique twist in the genre.   
“I’ve always loved to read the history of the Old West and hear stories,” Moore said. “When I began writing ‘The Bitter Trail,’ I intended to create uncontrollable turns of events which are not typically written about in westerns.”
The book is focused on the character Tom Peyton, who joins a pair of brothers who have ill intentions. Peyton finds his way from the grasps of the brothers and ends being a wealthy man with youthful dreams. With money to spend, he finds himself fighting men, the law and nature alike — all with dire results.
Moore is currently writing a series of children’s books along with a 19th century narrative of life during the Civil War.
