There are still some openings left for the adult workshop on creating Batik watercolor paintings.
Artist Susan Beth Wilhelm will teach Watercolor Wax Batiks Wall Hangings on Saturday, Nov. 14.
The class begins at 10 a.m., will break an hour for lunch, and will end at 4 p.m.
Participants will be instructed step-by-step in the process of wax batik and will come away with a fun and creative project to display in their homes or give as gifts. Beth is a veteran art teacher and frequently exhibits her work in a variety of shows and galleries.
Wilhelm currently has several of her Batik watercolors on consignment at the Mabee-Gerrer Museum of Art Gift Shop.
Museum admission does not apply to those only browsing the gift shop.
The cost for the workshop, including all supplies, is $65 for museum members and $75 for non-members.
