Tecumseh native Brett Cranford served as unit production manager for the film “Paranoid Park,” an independent movie being shown through Sunday at Noble Theater at the Oklahoma City Museum of Art. Directed by Gus Van Zant, “Paranoid Park” tells of an unsolved murder at Portland’s infamous park. The murder takes detectives to a local high school, propelling a young skater into a moral odyssey where he must not only deal with the pain and disconnect of adolescence but also the consequences of his own actions. At the 2007 Cannes Film Festival, Van Zant was awarded the 60th Anniversary Prize. Showtimes are 5:30 p.m. and 8 p.m. today and Saturday and at 2 p.m. Sunday. The Oklahoma City Museum of Art is at 415 Couch Drive in downtown Oklahoma City.
