SHAWNEE, Okla. —

Worship artist, songwriter and author Dennis Jernigan, who wrote “You Are My All in All,” “I Stand Amazed” and hundreds of other praise and worship songs, will be in concert 6:30 p.m. Saturday at Wesley United Methodist Church, 302 E. Independence in Shawnee.
The event is open to the public. Admission is free; a love offering will be taken.  For more information, call Joel Deichman, Wesley music director, at 275-1556. 
 Nicknamed by a pastor as “America’s Lead Worshipper,” Jernigan’s songs, such as “Nobody Fills My Heart Like Jesus,” “Thank You” and “We Will Worship the Lamb of Glory,” are sung over the world. His songs rank in the Top 100 on the Church Copyright Licensing charts for the most performed songs in churches.
 Jernigan has released more than 20 full-length CDs, multiple songbooks and folios and has written five books, including his two most recent, “Giant Killers” and “A Worshiper’s Guide to the Holy Land.” His newest CD, “I Cry Holy,” is available online and at retail outlets.
 Jernigan, his wife, Melinda, and their nine children live in Muskogee and serve at New Community Church.
