MAUD, Okla. —

Sophomore Chaz Moody picked up two pitching victories Thursday night as Maud swept a doubleheader from Macomb, 11-0 and 5-4.
In the three-inning (run-rule) opener, Moody fanned seven, walked two and gave up one hit.
Robert Fellows and Chris Wolfe of Maud both had a double and single. Fellows drove in two runs.
The second game was stopped after four innings because several members of the Macomb community were forced into action as volunteer firefighters.
That was barely enough time for Maud to squeeze out the win. Trailing 4-2 entering the bottom of the fourth, Maud scored three runs. The game-winning hit came on a two-out infield single by Randall Rogers. That drove in Wolfe, via a single.
A hit batsman (Clint Resler) and a Shane Bailey single got the inning going for the Tigers.
Moody, in four innings, permitted four hits, walked five and struck out six to improve to 5-4.
Maud, 7-13, will entertain Earlsboro Monday in a 4 p.m. twin bill.
