WANETTE — Junior Rod Williams smashed two home runs Tuesday to propel Asher to a 7-1 triumph over Wanette. Both of Williams’ home runs were solos. Following his HR in the seventh, teammate Matt Johnson followed with a roundtripper. Johnson also registered a double and drove in three runs.
Victorious pitcher Dakota Magby, in a seven-inning stint, gave up one run and three hits. He struck out nine and walked four. Wanette’s only run came in the fourth.

Asher (5-5) will play Saturday at Red Oak. The Indians are scheduled to meet Roff at 11 a.m. and Red Oak at 3 p.m.
