The Shawnee and Seminole girls tied for the championship of the Shawnee cross country meet held Thursday.
Seminole had the top two individual finishers in the 3,200-meter competition in Casady Ashcraft (14:06.09) and Kati Grandstaff (14:21.58). Shawnee had four top-10 finishers, headed by Mary Tiger in sixth place at 15:11.40. Other top-10 finishers for Shawnee were Jessica Cousins, 7th (15:16.19); Javen Bucy, 9th (15:19.23) and Allison Burger, 10th (15:24.17).
Yukon finished third in the team standings.
Also finishing in the top 30 for Shawnee were Sarita Jenkins, 15th in 15:33.27, and Kristan McCray, 30th in 16:33.53.
Seminole’s other top 30 finishers were Kendall Mills, 12th (15:29.89); Jessica Downey, 14th (15:32.89); Lexi Ashcraft, 16th (15:36.04); Abby Hooten, 21st (15:53.98); Taylor Jo Adams, 23rd (15:58.78) and Magan Marshall, 28th (16:25.07).

Two of those Wolves, however, were top-10 finishers. Jon Reames came in fourth (18:31.19) and Zach Enoch was seventh (19:24.11). Also competing for Shawnee were Bradley Finney, 42nd (22.50.66) and Cody Sivils, 45th (22.56).
McLoud’s top finisher was Steven Dowel, 40th with a time of 22:42.88.
Rickey Sanchez of Western Heights was the individual champion with a time of 17:39.53.
In the middle school 3,200-meter division, Kyler Rogers of Shawnee headed all entrants with a 14:32.76. Two other Shawnee competitors, Damian Codopony and Alexander Wilson, came in seventh and eighth, respectively, with times of 16:25.10 and 16:30.45.
Seminole swamped the girls 2,400-meter competition, taking six of the top 10 spots. Connor Colclaier was first (10:29.63) and teammate Kolby Lofton second (11:19.75). Josie Edgell was fourth (12:06.36) and Carson Sosbee fifth (12:18.51) for Seminole.
Shawnee had two top-10 finishes in Joey Yonnes, 7th at 12:32.86 and Damalia Young, 19th at 12:38.66.
The meet drew more than 300 entrants.
