Medical center gets food for needy families

Shawnee Medical Center employees held a food drive through the Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma.
The group had a “friendly” competition between the first floor employees and the second floor employees of a food sculpture contest. The second floor won the competition.
The food drive will provide underprivileged families with Thanksgiving Dinner. The donations stay in our community and will be given to Simon Peter’s Store House. This organization gives food and clothing items to over 600 families each month in our area.
