The grand opening for the annual Pottawatomie County Free Fair is today. Activities continue through Saturday and include everything from a carnival to junior tractor operator contests to a children’s barnyard. The fair is held at the Heart of Oklahoma Exposition Center. Carnival hours are 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. today and Friday and 1 p.m. to close on Saturday. Friday is school day.
