Robbery investigated

Shawnee police are investigating the armed robbery of a Kwick Stop, 822 N. Harrison.
The incident occurred about 6:25 p.m. Monday.
The store clerk said a black male, about 20-years-old, came into the store and asked for some cigars, so the clerk turned to get them. That’s when the suspect told the clerk that his brother was outside and had sent him into the store “to kill you and rob you,” the police report shows.
The clerk gave the suspect a small amount of cash from the register before the suspect fled the area.
The suspect was wearing a black shirt, black shorts and light color shoes.
