SEMINOLE, Okla. —

A Seminole woman died Wednesday in a two-vehicle accident, and another Seminole woman was treated and released from the hospital, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol said.
The accident occurred just before 8 p.m. on SH 9 one mile east of Seminole. According to an OHP report, Sonia Cerda, 33, died at the scene from multiple injuries.
The report said Cerda was traveling north on a county road in a 2002 Dodge Neon, while Seminole resident Roberta Clifton was traveling east on SH 9 in a 2006 Chevrolet Colorado pickup. Cerda failed to yield at a stop sign, the report said, and her vehicle was struck on the driver’s side by Clifton’s vehicle.
Neither driver was wearing a seat belt, the report said.
Clifton was taken to Integris Seminole Medical Center and was treated and released for minor leg injuries, the OHP said.
The accident was investigated by OHP Trooper Scott Aldridge of the Seminole County detachment.
