BETHEL, Okla. —

Apparently Good Ol’ Boy system alive and well in school sports
In response to “It’s just a game,” there are a few football players that play junior high and high school. The gurus get away with that, I assume with the same reason they get away with using foul language around the kids. They’re protected by the administration.

It’s a gamble
It’s remarkable when the odds at the Indian casinos are better than the odds on Wall Street.

What a deal!
Did you know that in Pottawatomie County you can steal ATM cards, checks or credit cards and run up thousands of dollars in debt, then admit you did it to the D.A., and they won’t even spank your hands? Your name will never appear in the paper; you’ll never go to jail. You’ll never have to repay those notes and you’re free to do it again. What a deal. When do we vote for  the D.A. again?
Done it again
Well, folks, Congress has done it to us again and it’s our own fault for sending the same people back time and time again. I would rather vote for Mickey Mouse or Howdy Dowdy than those we have now. And while we’re at it, let’s vote for term limits — one in office and one in prison. Maybe then they’ll listen to the ones who pay their salary.

What does it mean?
Have you seen Obama’s 757 plane? They’ve taken the U.S. flag off the tail section and replaced it with some kind of emblem that nobody knows what it means. If he’s elected, maybe we’ll find out what it means.

Need new blood in office
I hope everybody on the city council gets voted out that’s running for re-election so we can get some new people in this city that are interested in growing this city and getting new businesses.
