SHAWNEE, Okla. —

A Dice Roll benefit will be held Saturday to help defray medical costs for a Shawnee man who was critically injured in a June 14 motorcycle accident.
Christopher Heffley, 27, was driving a 2002 Honda motorcycle on his way to a family reunion in Tecumseh when the accident occurred in the 900 block of North Sixth Street.
Tecumseh firefighters and REACT EMS paramedics arrived and transported Heffley to the Tecumseh High School property, where a Medi Flight helicopter ambulance landed to transfer him to OU Medical Center in Oklahoma City. Heffley suffered trauma to his brain and external injuries.
Heffley has recently been released from OU Medical Center to a rehabilitation hospital in Oklahoma City, but he has no medical insurance, his cousin said.
