To the Editor:
If America really wants to be able to continue to keep jobs, produce jobs, get student loans, car loans, receive credit, keep their homes, receive their paychecks, then you need to support the presidential candidate that will work to help us keep these American dreams, and that’s Sen. Barack Obama.
Sen. McCain wants the same as Bush, and that’s to help the fat cats as always. When you go into the voting booth, don’t listen to those scare tactics you read on the Internet or the newspapers written by people such as Howard W. Hall, Weldon McGaw and Crain. These people are obvious Republicans and wouldn’t vote for a Democrat no matter what. Mr. Hall wrote that the real Obama is known by only a few. Well, it seems that more than a few agree with Sen. Obama according to the polls. Sen. McCain supported Bush’s plan to risk our Social Security benefits through privatization; what a train wreck that would be right now. He voted to raise the Medicare eligibility age and missed a critical vote to reduce prescription drug costs for seniors. In 2003, McCain voted to use Social Security funds to pay off federal debt.
