To the Editor:
As all know, 9-11-01 changed our lives forever.
Awakening America ministry recruited volunteers across the United States to hold prayer meetings on 9-11-08, as well as Cry Out America.
On 9-11-08, Aglow International’s local fellowship sponsored a meeting. The keynote speaker was State Rep. Kris Steele. Several denominations were present as we crossed the denominational lines and united in prayer for America.
Rep. Kris Steele is a very eloquent speaker. He quoted some of our founding fathers’ statements and reminded us of the founding of America. As this article is read we are reminded of freedom of speech. Rep. Steele is a very humble man and we were certainly blessed to have him speak.
Thanks to all efforts made. Thank you all for attending and praying.
