To The Editor:
Over the past week or so yours truly has been labeled as being the following.
Having a closed mind, selfish, bitter, Irrelevant, spiteful, outdated, dangerous, hypocritical, self serving, and bringing up the rear, old fashioned. Now that’s only the good ones. I must be honest and admit that I am some what old fashioned in that I believe our borders should be closed to protect our citizens and preserve our national sovereignty. I also believe that if a law is broken a penalty is due not a reward. I believe we should have but one language to speak, conduct business and communicate with each other as one people, one nation. Some people believe that a nation can remain strong to its core beliefs while at the same time supporting various ethnic cultures. I don`t see any evidence that this works and Europe is a good example. England and France are having problems with an expanding, unchecked Muslim population that is taking over and installing its own laws to their communities in the guise of religious freedom. I may be old fashioned but I still believe in one flag, one national anthem, one language and one America for all.
If this represents being old fashioned then call me guilty.
