Amy Lewis of Kansas City, Mo., and Michael Van Wagner, formerly of Prague, are pleased to announce their engagement. The couple was engaged atop Cloud’s Rest peak in Yosemite National Park in September.
Amy is the daughter of Eleanore Lewis and the late Fred Lewis of Kansas City.
Michael is the son of James and Madeline Van Wagner of Kansas City, Kan., (formerly of Shawnee).
Amy studied engineering at the University of Missouri and has a B.S. in Social Psychology from Park University. She is employed as an advancement director at William Jewell College.
Michael is a graduate of Oklahoma State University, where he received his B.S. majoring in Forestry. He currently is an environmental scientist with Apex Companies.
The couple has an August 2012 wedding planned at Visitation Catholic Church with the reception to follow at Drexel Hall in Kansas City, Mo., where they currently reside.
