Courtney Dawn Eagleston and Trevor Scott Nelson, both of Shawnee, were united in marriage Oct. 21, 2011.
The bride is the daughter of Gary Eagleston of Shawnee and Vicki Eagleston of Tecumseh. She is the granddaughter of Judy Yates of Tecumseh.
The groom is the son of Cheryl Nelson of McLoud and Scott Nelson of Shawnee. He is the grandson of George and Sharon Menz, Sue Nelson and Bobby Nelson, all of Shawnee.
The ceremony took place in front of the Crescendo Falls at the Flamingo Hotel in Las Vegas. The bride wore a white taffeta slim strapless gown with beaded and crystal appliqués. It had a lace-up back and pick-up skirt with chapel train. Her chapel-length veil was trimmed with pearls and crystal beading. The groom wore a black Calvin Klein tuxedo.
Maid of honor was Megan Stewart, longtime friend of the bride. Bridesmaid was Taylor Nelson, sister of the groom. Best man was Jarod Palmer, childhood friend of the groom. Groomsman was Tanner Nelson, brother of the groom.
Close friends and family joined the couple for a weekend of fun in Las Vegas.
To celebrate their marriage the couple was honored with a reception, buffet and dance on Nov. 12, 2011, at the Shawnee Elks. The reception and buffet was catered by Joy Hubard, and music was provided by D.J. Pros of Oklahoma.
The couple resides in Shawnee. Courtney is employed by Trendy Tees in Harrah and Trevor is a senior at St. Gregory’s University.
