It’s been said knowledge is power.
The McBride Foundation will host a series of educational seminars focused on arthritis and related diseases.
The series will take place in four quadrants of the Oklahoma City metro area. It is free to the public and will give people the power they need to make the right joint care decisions.
The seminars concentrate on joint pain and treatment options and hope to provide the information people need to make informed choices for themselves and for family members.
All seminars will be held from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. and will be presented by orthopedic surgeons from McBride Clinic.
Dr. David Saxton will present the a seminar Tuesday, Nov. 10 in Skylab I and II at Gordon Cooper Technology Center.
“The McBride Foundation is devoted to the promotion of education, treatment and research to benefit the musculoskeletal health of Oklahomans,” Saxton, chairman of the McBride Foundation board of directors, said.
“One in seven Americans or 36.4 million people have a musculoskeletal impairment that limits or decreases their ability to function at home, work or play. It is our hope that bringing vital information through these free seminars will help the attendees make informed decisions.”
Seating is limited and reservations are requested by calling 405-486-2550.
