Lilite named minister of music

University Baptist Church announces Dr. Louima Lilite as the interim minister of music as of Sept. 6.
Lilite’s responsibilities will include leading worship as well as directing the adult and youth choirs.
In addition to his duties at University Baptist Church, he is also an assistant professor of voice at Oklahoma Baptist University.  
During the summer Lilite also serves as the coordinator for the North Haiti Music Camp in Limbé, Haiti, where he began his musical studies as a child. The church was active in fundraising for this year’s camp and raised $8,000 to help sponsor musicians as well as children who attended the 2009 camp.
