The Northridge Church of Christ is hosting the annual Area Leaders Banquet this Friday, Feb. 26, in the west wing of the complex, 1001 East MacArthur.
Elders, deacons, evangelists and their wives from the area Churches of Christ are asked to attend the event which begins at 6:30 p.m. Dr. John Harrison of Oklahoma Christian University will be the speaker.
The event has been held annually for several years and is rotated among Churches of Christ that meet in Pottawatomie, Seminole and Lincoln counties. A spokesman from each church gives a report on the activities and plans of that congregation and enjoy a meal together.
This year the food is being catered by Robb’s Smokehouse and the wives of the Northridge leaders are preparing the desserts.
In past years more than a hundred have been in attendance for the fellowship.
