Mary Darlene Sellers and Dakota Allen Streber, both of Shawnee, announce their engagement and approaching marriage July 25, 2009, at Praise Assembly of God Church, Shawnee.
The bride-elect is the daughter of Tammy Sellers of Thomas and Larry and Christy Sellers of Meeker.
She is the granddaughter of Ronnie and Darlene McClure of Harrah and the late Henry King, Francis and Jerry Leyerly of McLoud and Levy Sellers of Shallotte, N.C. She is a 2006 graduate of Dale High School. She is employed as a customer service representative for BancFirst, Shawnee.
The groom-elect is the son of Debra Streber of Shawnee and Mark Streber of Shawnee. He is the grandson of Leroy Luper of Carnegie and the late Reta Faye Luper and Harry and Jean Streber of Tuttle.
He is a 2004 graduate of Dale High School and earned a 2007 associate’s of arts degree from Rose State College. He is a May 2009 graduate of Southwestern Oklahoma State University where he earned a bachelor of science degree in kinesiology.
