Six people from Shawnee, McLoud and Texas will leave next week for continued work in Bulgaria. George Palmer, Donnie and Glenda Kuhn, Dennis Easton and Larry and Vickie Sparks, all of New Beginnings Church, 1203 E. 42nd, will form a team to work in a free clinic and orphanage in Kazanluk and a Gypsy village outside of Sliven, Bulgaria.
Bulgaria is located to the west of the Black Sea, below Romania and above Turkey. Grace Missionary and New Beginnings Church have made many trips to work with Gypsy’s and have started a preschool in the village of Nadezdah. Plans are to start a second school in another village this trip. Some light construction work, evangelism, strengthening three churches and teaching will take place.
Unity Health Center nurses donated scrubs to give to staff at the free clinic. Other plans are joining the Hamilton family in Malawi, Africa, and serving in Mexico later this year.
