Sisters at Heart, a women’s ministry of Wesley United Methodist Church, begins its 10th season Tuesday, Sept. 27.  The program will be brought by recording artist, speaker, and worship leader Amy Hill.

She is the founder of Amy Hill Ministries, Disney, Okla. She travels over many states leading worship and retreats for women. She comes to express her love for God through her humor, message, and music. Hill will explore John 15:13, “There is no greater love than to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.”  She says, “What does this mean to you? What can this mean to your friends?

Her albums include Lord of My Life, Sit With Me Awhile, Froot Loops: Worship for Kids, and her latest album You Can Do More. She loves to teach and lead worship all over the United States.

Sisters at Heart is an outreach of Wesley United Methodist Church, 302 E. Independence, Shawnee, and is open to all women. It is the goal and purpose of the ministry to help women of all walks to draw closer to God by hearing other women’s stories of God’s power in their lives.

Organizers Debbie Chlouber and Donna Tonubbee invite and welcome all area women to come and enjoy the  program, beginning at 6:30 p.m. with a snack supper and fellowship time. Hill will begin at 7 p.m. The evening is offered at no cost, and ends with door prizes and prayer.

A nursery is always available.
