Gavin James Hargrave of McLoud and Shandra Christine Long of McLoud were married April 25, 2009, at Shawnee Twin Lakes with Mike McCauley officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Glenda Long of McLoud and Terry Long of Afton. She is the granddaughter of Corbett and Arlen Story of Bethel Acres and Vera Long of Shawnee and the late Ed Long.
The groom is the son of Gordon and Kathleen Hargrave of Newcastle and the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Benjamin Hargrave and the late Mr. and Mrs. Walker Benoit.
A piano instrumental of “From This Moment” played as the bride walked down the aisle.
Jennifer Long served her sister as maid of honor.
Bridesmaids were Brandi Lupo and Janie Long, sister of the bride.
The bride chose a strapless, A-line gown with pleated band at the waist and an apronback with azalea satin trim and chapel-length train.
Groomsmen were Nicholas Long, brother of the bride, Terry Long, father of the bride, and Andrew Brown.
The groom wore a classic black tuxedo with white vest.
James Garoutte and Cody Alldredge were the ushers.
Flower girls were Haylee Long and Hannah Long, nieces of the bride.
Cooper Brown, son of the groom, was the ring bearer.
Following the exchange of vows, the couple were honored with a reception at the Shawnee Community Center with Mandy Barnett, Jamie Long and Cori Aldredge serving.
The couple honeymooned in Alaska and live in Bethel Acres.
