BURN Shawnee will be hosted by the Salvation Army Friday at 9 a.m. and continue until Saturday, March 7 at 9 p.m., 36 hours of continuous praise and worship. The Salvation Army is located on the corner of 9th and Union in Shawnee. Come at any time and stay as long as you can. Praising God and interceding for our city, state and nation is a privilege that we still have. Let’s take advantage of the rights that we still have in the U.S.

St. Mark’s United Methodist Church will its monthly bean dinner from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. The meal will consist of brown and white beans, cornbread, coleslaw and homemade desserts. Cost is $3 for adults and $1.50 for children. All profits will go to local and extended missions.
