A Macomb man was critically injured Friday morning when his pickup ran off the roadway and rolled twice.
The Oklahoma Highway Patrol said the accident occurred about 9:07 a.m. in far western Pottawatomie County along Etowah Road.
Carl Boston, 47, was driving a 2001 Chevrolet Suburban when it ran off the roadway to the right, struck a rock ditch and rolled two complete times, ejecting him, the OHP said.
Boston was taken by REACT EMS ambulance to OU Medical Center in Oklahoma City, where he was admitted in critical condition with a broken arm, broken leg and internal injuries.
Cause of the collision is under investigation, but the driver’s condition on the OHP report is listed as being under the influence of some type of medication.
Seat belts were not in use, the OHP said.
