SHAWNEE, Okla. —
Registered voters in Pottawatomie County who want to vote by mail absentee ballot in Tuesday’s primary, city of Shawnee general and Wanette I-115 special school bond election have missed the application deadline, County Election Board Secretary Diana Knight said today.
“They aren’t out of luck, however, “Knight said.
Voters who want to cast absentee ballots still can do so at the County Election Board office 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday or Monday or 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday.
“In-person absentee voters fill out an application form when they get to the office. They are not required to give a reason for voting absentee,” Knight said. For more information, call 405-273-8376.
