SHAWNEE, Okla. —

A motorcyclist killed in a two-vehicle accident Monday in north Pottawatomie County has been identified by his family as Brian Jennings of Meeker.
Jennings’ uncle, Jerry Jennings, told the News-Star it was his motorcycle that his nephew was riding.
The accident occurred at about 2 p.m. at the intersection of SH 18 and Wolverine Road. According to the Shawnee Police Department, the motorcyclist was northbound on SH 18 while a Shawnee teenager was westbound on a Wolverine Road in a 2002 Chevrolet pickup. The two vehicles collided in the intersection, and police officers say the accident is still under investigation.
Jennings died at the scene.
Cpl. Dan Shumaker with the Shawnee Police Department said the motorcyclist was not wearing a helmet. The 17-year-old driver of the pickup, whose name has not been released, was not injured.
A memorial fund has been set up for Jennings’ family, and donations can be made at any BancFirst location. The fund is called the Brian Jennings Memorial Fund, and checks can be made to Cindy or Larry Jennings.
