Local students will receive degrees from SWOSU

Approximately 300 students from Southwestern Oklahoma State University at Weatherford will complete requirements for either bachelor’s, master’s or doctoral degrees after the current Fall 2009 semester.
These students had the opportunity to participate in the 2009 SWOSU graduation ceremony or go through convocation exercises at 10 a.m. Saturday, May 8 at Milam Stadium on the SWOSU campus.
Local students who completed requirements for their degrees this December include:
Stephanie Newman, bachelor of science degree in elementary education, Shawnee; Whitney Lee, bachelor of arts degree in political science, Prague; Emily Haskins, bachelor of science degree in exercise science, Wellston; and William Potter, Doctor of Pharmacy, Wewoka.
