The Prague Roundup Club will hold the 62nd annual Open Show Rodeo July 11 and 12, with competition beginning at 8 p.m. each night.
The events and entry fees include:
• Bareback Riding — $50, $250 added
• Saddle Bronc — $50
• Breakaway Roping — $35
• Ribbon Roping — $50
• Tie Down Calf Roping — $50
• Team Roping (four-time entry, $25 jackpot per competitor) — $50
• PeeWee Barrels (8 and under) — $10
• Junior Barrels (9 to 15) — $35
• Open Barrels — $40
• Bull Riding — $50, $500 added
• Mutton Bustin’ (limited to 20 entries per night) — $20
There are no gate refunds, and all entries must be paid by 7 p.m. July 11. Entries may be paid with cash only.
Negative coggins are required on horses, and western dress will be strictly enforced.
Catch It and Keep It will be held July 11, for those 7 and under, and Calf Scramble will be held July 12 for those 12 and under. Free giveaways will be held each night.
Rusty Mooreland Rodeo Productions of Oklahoma City is the stock producer for the rodeo.
