An Indian taco sale will be held from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the Sac and Fox Multi-Purpose Building, 215 N. Harrison in Shawnee. Cost is $5 per taco, and deliveries for orders of three or more can be made by calling 275-1262 or 831-3751.

Saturday
The governing council meeting for Sac and Fox Nation tribal members will be at 10 a.m. in the Community Building at the Sac and Fox Nation Capitol Complex, five and a half miles south of Stroud on SH 99. A continental breakfast will be served before the meeting, and lunch will be served during the noon break.

The Shawnee Twin Lakes Association will host a sailboat rally at 1 p.m. at Shawnee Twin Lake No. 1. The boats will sail in the area of the dam for about one and a half hours, and participants will be fed hot dogs after the rally. Anyone with a sailboat is welcome to participate.

Tuesday, Sept. 2
The Shawnee High School class of 1958 reunion committee will meet at 6:30 p.m. at Van’s Pig Stand on East Highland.
