Benefit cookout, tournament set April 25 for two police officers

A benefit barbecue cookout and horseshoe tournament will be 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday, April 25, at the Masonic Lodge in McLoud.
Bobby Hoover, a local officer ,will be singing during the event and fire trucks and police cars will be there for children. Also during the event, a horse shoe tournament between police and firefighters will be held.
Proceeds will help send two local officers —  McLoud Officer Reagan Dill and Kickapoo Tribal Officer Joe Abbiss — on a mission trip to Africa.
The event is open to the public and is sponsored by the McLoud Masonic Lodge.
