NOW SHOWING AT MOVIES 6: “Deception:” An accountant (Ewan McGregor) is introduced to a mysterious sex club known as The List by his lawyer friend (Hugh Jackman). But in this new world, he soon becomes the prime suspect in a woman’s disappearance and a multi-million dollar heist. Michelle Williams also stars. (R) “Baby Mama:” Successful and single businesswoman Kate Holbrook (Tina Fey) has long put her career ahead of a personal life. Now 37, she’s finally determined to have a kid on her own. But her plan is thrown a curve ball after she discovers she has only a million-to-one chance of getting pregnant. Undaunted, the driven Kate allows South Philly working girl Angie Ostrowiski (Amy Poehler) to become her unlikely surrogate. Simple enough? Maybe not. Also starring are Greg Kinnear and Sigourney Weaver. (PG-13: for crude and sexual humor, language and a drug reference) “88 Minutes:” A college professor (Al Pacino) who moonlights as a forensic psychiatrist for the FBI receives a death threat claiming he has only 88 minutes to live. Now he has a limited amount of time to solve a murder — his own. Also starring are Amy Brenneman, Leelee Sobieski and William Forsythe. (R: for disturbing violent content, brief nudity and language) “Nim’s Island:” Anything can happen on Nim’s Island, a magical place ruled by a young girl’s imagination. It is an existence that mirrors that of her favorite literary character, Alex Rover, the world’s greatest adventurer. But Alexandra, the author of the Rover books, leads a reclusive life in the big city. When Nim’s father goes missing from their island, a twist of fate brings her together with Alexandra. Now, they must draw courage from their fictional hero, Alex Rover, and find strength in one another to conquer Nim’s Island. Starring are Jodie Foster and Abigail Breslin (PG: for mild adventure action and brief language) “21:” A shy M.I.T. student needs to find a way to pay for school and does so by playing cards. He joins a group of students as they make their way toward Vegas for a big payday. They make their riches by working the gambling tricks of the trade. All they have to do is stay one step ahead of the casino enforcer. Inspired by the true story of five students who changed the game forever. Starring are Kevin Spacey, Laurence Fishburne, Kate Bosworth and Liza Lapira. (PG-13: for some violence and sexual content, including partial nudity) “10,000 BC:” From director Roland Emmerich comes a sweeping odyssey into a mythical age of prophesies and gods, when spirits rule the land and mighty mammoths shake the earth. In a remote mountain tribe, the young hunter D’Leh (Steven Strait) has found his heart’s passion — the beautiful Evolet (Camilla Belle). When a band of mysterious warlords raid his village and kidnap Evolet, D’Leh is forced to lead a small group of hunters to pursue the warlords to the end of the world to save her. (PG-13: for intense action and violence)
