Diane McCurry, 56, of Tecumseh, passed from this life on Friday, Dec. 16, 2016.

Born Sept. 28, 1960, in Los Angeles, California, she was the daughter of the late John and Dorothy Willman.

She is survived by her longtime companion, Roy Maggard, of the home; brother, Terry Thornish of Oklahoma City; two daughters, Raven Duff and husband, Patrick, of Shawnee, and Amanda Sanner and companion, Evan Lewis, of Midwest City; Roy’s children, Charlotte Conder of Mustang, and Sarah Hanna and husband, Jack, of Yukon; grandchildren Allie Duff, Branden Duff, Jordyn Bailey, Skyler Conder, Gabrielle Hanna, Brooklyn Duff, Evan Lewis Jr., Jordon Lewis, Braylen Lewis, Jamelle Boone Jr., Tanner Duff, and Avynn Lewis; as well as countless other relatives and friends.

Diane was one of a kind, a rarity with a beautiful soul. She could light up any room just by entering it. She was a kind and generous person who would help anyone in need. Diane loved with her whole heart and had a zest for life. She enjoyed going to the lake, shopping, and getting her nails done (usually a bright blue). She was also a huge fan of OU, the Dallas Cowboys, and Nascar. She liked watching CSI and Big Bang Theory and loved her night time chocolate fix.

Diane was employed by General Motors and retired after 30 years of service, having made many memories and forming lifelong friendships. She was also employed at Flanco as a machinist for the last nine and a half years. She adored “her boys,” as she would call them, at the shop.

Diane loved her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, and spending time with the love of her life, Roy, her daughters, and especially her grandchildren.

She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

A memorial service will be held Thursday, Dec. 22, at 2 p.m. at the John M. Ireland Funeral Home and Chapel in Moore.
