An Agra woman died Thursday after her vehicle crashed following a medical episode while driving, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol reported.
The OHP said the crash occurred about 1:46 p.m. on East 750 Road and North 3430 Road, which is two miles north of Agra in Lincoln County.
Troopers said Maxine Hill, 79, was driving a 1998 Oldsmobile. As Hill was backing out of a residential driveway and began traveling on eastbound on East 750 Road, she suffered a medical episode and was incapacitated, the trooper's report shows.
Her vehicle departed the roadway to the left at slow speeds before rolling into a fence and coming to a stop. She was transported by Cushing EMS to Hillcrest Hospital Cushing, the patrol said, where she was pronounced dead due to a pre-existing medical condition unrelated to the crash.
Her passenger, a 9-year-old, was not injured, the patrol reported.
Cause of collision was listed as a medical incident; seat belts were equipped and in use.
