In the afternoon, Friday, December 23, Primrose residents had a Christmas party. They were served wine, cheese, crackers and fruit while playing a fun game called “Tape Ball.” The game consisted of small prizes and candy wrapped up with masking tape forming a ball. Larger prizes were given by putting numbers on poker chips or other flat objects. Participants were seated around tables. One person took the tape ball and began unwrapping it while the one next to him/her took one die and rolled until they got a 1. This continued until the tape ball was totally unwrapped. Those who got numbers from the ball then selected their prize or prizes from a prize table. Following that, there was a drawing where residents won more prizes. Everyone had a great time and some were surprisingly very aggressive.
