Billy Ray Thomas McFatridge, 51, of Tecumseh, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 4, 2017, in Tecumseh.

Billy Ray Thomas McFatridge, 51, of Tecumseh, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 4, 2017, in Tecumseh.

He was born Sept. 6, 1965, in Fort Worth, Texas, to Vernon and Tiny Oleta (White) McFatridge.

Billy was raised in Seminole, Shawnee and Tecumseh. He attended school in Seminole and Shawnee.

He was a self-employed contract courier for banks and other companies.

Billy loved getting together with his family and spending time with his cousins, nieces and nephews. He was always ready to help with raising kids or lending a helping hand to someone in need. Billy loved to travel, loved his pets, and enjoyed going to the lake. He was quick witted, had a giggle that made you smile, and was fluent in sarcasm!

He was preceded in death by his brother, Dale McFatridge; sister, Kathy Gorman; and cousin and best friend, Tammy Edwards.

Billy is survived by his mother, Tiny McFatridge of Tecumseh; father, Vernon McFatridge, Ft. Worth, Texas; three sisters and one brother-in-law, Mary And Ken Campbell of Ardmore, Sherie Kipgen of Oklahoma City, and Darla Demo of Meeker; special friend, Glenda Herron of Shawnee; many nieces, nephews, cousins and too many extended family and close personal friends to list; and fur baby, Holly.

Visitation will be from noon to 8 p.m., Friday, Jan. 6, and continue through service time. Family gathering to meet with friends and family will be from 6 to 8 p.m., Friday, Jan. 6, at Cooper Funeral Home.

Service will be 2 p.m., Saturday, Jan. 7, at Cooper Funeral Home Chapel with his uncle, Burney White of Shawnee, officiating. Burial will follow at Tecumseh Cemetery under the direction of Cooper Funeral Home of Tecumseh.
