Pauline A. DeSantis, 85, of Tecumseh, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 25, 2017, in Tecumseh.

Pauline A. DeSantis, 85, of Tecumseh, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 25, 2017, in Tecumseh.

She was born April 15, 1931, to Paul Lee and Alice Mary (Eldridge) Brown in St. Louis, Missouri.

Pauline moved with her family at the age of 10 to California. At the age of 18, she married Dale Jerzykowski and traveled all over the world as a military wife. Dale preceded her in death in 1984. She has lived in Tecumseh for the past 30 years.

While living in California she worked at Hughes Aircraft for many years. Upon moving to the Tecumseh area she went to work at COJAC as a cook and worked there until retiring at the age of 65 in 1999.

Pauline loved her family very much and enjoyed spending time with them, especially her grandchildren and her pets.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Dale Jerzykowski; her son, Michael Jerzykowski; her parents; and son-in-law, Wayne Tandy.

Pauline is survived by three daughters and one son-in-law, Suzanne Tandy of Spokane, Washington, Kathy and Jim Brewer of Tecumseh, and Elizabeth Jerzykowski of California; two sons and one daughter-in-law, Dale Jerzykowski Jr. and significant other, Christine Haynes of Seminole, and Steven Jerzykowski of Tecumseh; 13 grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; daughter-in-law, JoAnn Jerzykowski and other extended family and friends.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Saturday, Jan. 28, and from 1 to 7 p.m., Sunday, Jan. 29, and continue through service time. Family gathering to meet with friends and family will be from 4 to 6 p.m., Sunday, Jan. 29, at Cooper Funeral Home.

Service will be 10 a.m., Monday, Jan. 30, at Cooper Funeral Home Chapel with Chaplain Bill Smith, Heartland Hospice of Shawnee, officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Hill Cemetery in Tecumseh under the direction of Cooper Funeral Home of Tecumseh.
