Greetings to all Hearts and here’s hoping they are all “sweet hearts!” Have you shared your thoughts of love and cupids to those that are very dear to your heart? Remember, it is just two more days until your beloved will wonder what you have surprised them with, on Tuesday, February 14!

Greetings to all Hearts and here’s hoping they are all “sweet hearts!” Have you shared your thoughts of love and cupids to those that are very dear to your heart? Remember, it is just two more days until your beloved will wonder what you have surprised them with, on Tuesday, February 14!

Have you ever thought of someone going through their life without anyone ever showing them love? Most of us have gone through a period of time, at some time in our life, when we were depressed, lonely, sad and felt all alone, especially when we lose a loved one. But, there is usually someone that comes around to show their love and concern for us.

In the past, I have had the opportunity to live next door or near someone that lived alone, and all of their family either lived in another state or were deceased. Do you have a dear friend, acquaintance or neighbor that may live alone, with no family or without loved ones living near?

Then, it is time for hearts to be tenderized with loving thoughts expressed, goodies baked, or florist shop visited, and a stop for one of those Hallmark cards, all to share your love with one that is lonely and all alone. Then, when your golden deed is done, you will go home with a smile on your face, with joy and love in your heart, to share with your loved ones.

Have you ever read in a dictionary about the lengthy description of the small four letter word: love? This year is the first time I have ever taken the time to do research on that small word, which means so much in a life, nation and world. It is what makes the world go forth in good will and unity. In fact, love is such a deep devotion and/or affection for another, which one cannot really explain.

There are several kinds of love here on earth, but, there is none greater than the love our Lord and Savior has for us. Today, may we show love and kindness, to loved ones, friends, and strangers, but especially, those less fortunate.

We are reminded of God’s love and how our love should be, as told in the New Testament in 1st Corinthians, Chapter 13. Verse 1: “Thou I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not charity (love), I am become as sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal.” Verse 13 - “And now abideth faith, hope, charity (love), these three; but the greatest of these is charity (love).”
