Voters in the Pleasant Grove School District rejected a $810,000 bond issue Tuesday that would have helped build new classroom additions and a storm shelter.

Election results showed 55 voted no, or 72.37 percent. There were 21 voting yes, or 27.63 percent. Bonds must have a 60 percent supermajority to pass.

If passed, for every $100 paid in property taxes annually, taxes would have increased $36.93.
