On June 10-11 the Extreme Cowboy Association will be hosting their Oklahoma State Championship at Rolling Stone Stables in Shawnee.

The event consists of an obstacle course similar to what one might find in a ranch setting. Some obstacles include barrels, cattle roping and bridge crossing.

There will be three classes, including a green course for those with very limited riding experience, a novice course for riders who have some experience and a higher level course for seasoned riders.

The event will start at 9 a.m. on Saturday with a walkthrough and the event kicking off at 10 a.m.

Belt buckles will be awarded to the winner in each class.
